Responsibilities include generating timely acknowledgements of donations, maintaining the donor database, assisting with coordination of various fund-raising or donor acknowledgement events, facilitating all mailings, processing contributions, and taking minutes at the quarterly Development Committee meeting of the Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar database software strongly preferred. Experience with Publisher or publishing software helpful but not required. Must be able to work with seniors, maintain a pleasant demeanor while working under pressure, and be highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
